Backed by supportive parents who ran their own fashion business, she took a bold leap and auditioned in London for a prestigious acting school… which led her straight to Los Angeles, where we met as classmates.
Now with a thriving career in Hollywood, Roberta opened up about her powerful work ethic and what it’s really like to chase the American dream. One of her biggest highlights? Landing the role of Princess Leia Organa’s aunt in Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. She walks us through that surreal moment of being cast and what it meant to be part of such a legendary universe.
We also talked about her recent trip to Cannes, where her latest film was featured, and how she’s continuing to expand her work as a producer and director. She even dropped a powerful gem, likening her production style to Tom Brady — someone who thrives “in the pocket and under pressure.”
